Haizebegi festival in Bayonne and in Pasaia 3.-13. October 2024

3.-13. October 2024, the Haizebegi festival will be held in Bayonne and in Pasaia in the presence of Mrs. Unnur Orradóttir Ramette, Ambassador of Iceland in France, and Mr. Jean-René Etchegaray, Mayor of Bayonne and in cooperation between Haizebegi and the Icelandic Basque Association, the University Centre of the Westfjords and Albaola, as part of the Basque Project co-funded by Creative Europe. The last four days of the festival will be dedicated to the Basque Centre in Djúpavík, Iceland. Icelandic artists and academics take part in the festival together with Basque artists and academics, i.a. Umbra Ensemble, the The Comedytheatre of the Westfjords and the Intelligent Instruments Lab at the University of Iceland.
